Meine Top 3 Sunrise-Spots auf Madeira

In folgendem Artikel stelle ich Euch meine persönlichen Top 3 Sunrise Spots von Madeira vor. Im Oktober 2021 war ich für eine Woche auf der Insel. Von möglichen 7 Sonnenaufgängen habe ich 5 miterlebt. Jedes Mal an einem anderen Fotospot. Das schöne zu dieser Jahreszeit ist, dass die Sonnenaufgänge schon relativ spät sind. Somit kann man also doch etwas länger schlafen und bekommt dennoch diese magischen Momente mit.

Welche 3 Spots Du bei einem Madeira-Urlaub auf jeden Fall besuchen solltest, erzähle ich Dir hier.

Spot 1: Aussichtspunkt Bica da Cana

Mit Sicherheit ist dies einer der weniger bekannten Spots auf der Insel. Der Weg dorthin ist verhältnismäßig schlecht ausgeschildert, und so haben wir uns zunächst erst verlaufen. Wenn man es dann doch nach oben geschafft hat, bietet sich einem ein atemberaubender Blick. Über Sao Vicente kann man bis zu den beiden Bergen Pico Ruivo und Pico do Arieiro sehen. In dieser Blickrichtung sieht man dann auch die Sonne aufgehen. Sehr deutlich ist außerdem die Wetterstation auf dem Pico do Arieiro zu erkennen. Wenn man Glück hat, hat sich in der Nacht noch etwas Nebel gebildet. Perfekte Bedingungen um einen Sonnenaufgang über den Wolken zu erleben.

Spot 2: Miradouro do Guindaste

Dieser Spot eignet sich besonders gut, wenn man trotz etwas längerem Schlafen einen Sonnenaufgang miterleben möchte. Kurz vor diesem Spot befindet sich nämlich ein Parkplatz, sodass man sehr entspannt bis zum Fotospot kommen kann. Die Küste ist hier so gestaltet, dass man sich sehr gut auf eine der Vorsprünge stellen kann. Links von der Insel über dem Meer geht dann die Sonne auf. Durch den starken Wellengang entsteht einiges an Gischt, welche ebenfalls von der Sonne beleuchtet wird. Ein sehr schöner Anblick.

Spot 3: Ponta do Rosto

Ein Must-see bei einem Madeira Besuch. Hat man hier den Sonnenaufgang erlebt, so eignet sich der Spot perfekt als Ausgangspunkt einer kleinen Wanderung bis zum östlichen Ende der Insel. Besonders gut haben mir hier die schroffen Felsen gefallen. Gepaart mit schönem Sonnenlicht ergibt sich so ein tolles Farbenspiel. Ein perfekter Spot zum Fotografieren. Eine eventuell anschließende Wanderung bietet viele weitere Möglichkeiten zum Fotografien.

My Top 3 Sunrise Spots in Madeira

In the following article I present you my personal top 3 sunrise spots of Madeira. In October 2021 I was on the island for a week. From a possible 7 sunrises, I witnessed 5. Each time at a different photo spot. The nice thing about this time of year is that the sunrises are relatively late. So you can sleep a little longer and still get these magical moments.

Which 3 spots you should visit on a Madeira vacation in any case, I tell you here.

Spot 1: Viewpoint Bica da Cana

For sure this is one of the less known spots on the island. The way there is relatively poorly signposted, and so we got lost at first. But when you make it to the top, you get a breathtaking view. Over Sao Vicente you can see up to the two mountains Pico Ruivo and Pico do Arieiro. In this direction you can also see the sun rising. You can also clearly see the weather station on Pico do Arieiro. If you are lucky, some fog has formed during the night. Perfect conditions to experience a sunrise above the clouds.

Spot 2: Miradouro do Guindaste

This spot is especially good if you want to see a sunrise despite sleeping a little longer. Close to this spot there is a parking lot, so that you can reach the photo spot very relaxed. The coast is designed in such a way that you can easily stand on one of the ledges. On the left of the island above the sea the sun rises. The strong swell creates some spray, which is also illuminated by the sun.  A very beautiful sight.

Spot 3: Ponta do Rosto

A must-see on a visit to Madeira. If you have seen the sunrise here, the spot is perfect as a starting point for a small hike to the eastern end of the island. I especially liked the rugged rocks here. Paired with beautiful sunlight results in a great play of colors. A perfect spot for taking pictures. A possible subsequent hike offers many more opportunities for photography.
